Known for its excellent strength-to-weight ratio, outstanding corrosion resistance, and lightweight properties, titanium is widely used to manufacture aerospace components, medical equipment, marine hardware, chemical processing equipment, and precision structural parts. Different titanium grades offer varying levels of strength, ductility, formability, and corrosion resistance, making titanium sheet metal fabrication a versatile solution for applications requiring high performance, weight reduction, and long-term durability.
Titanium Grade 2, also known as Commercially Pure (CP) Titanium Grade 2, UNS R50400, or W.Nr. 3.7035, is an unalloyed titanium offering a superior balance of moderate strength, high ductility, lightweight performance, and outstanding corrosion resistance. It features an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, a density approximately 45% lower than steel, and high resistance to oxidation.

Titanium Grade 5, also known as Ti-6Al-4V, UNS R56400, or W.Nr. 3.7165, is the most widely used alpha-beta titanium alloy, renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, high mechanical strength, and excellent corrosion resistance. Containing 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, it offers nearly triple the yield strength of commercially pure titanium (such as Titanium Grade 2) while maintaining a density approximately 45% lower than steel.
